For I have been wanting to apply to several jobs online but they always require for me to give out my social security number and I do not really feel comfortable giving out my SS number online however most jobs require for you to apply online so is it safe?

your social is a number that you should only give out when absolutely necessary.

LOL those are scams to steal your identity.
DON’T GIVE ‘EM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!!! THEY’LL STEAL YOUR IDENTITY!
never do that unless your sure!!!!
No do so only in person
No! If the place you’re applying for requires your SSN, then you should fill out a paper application, or an instore one.
The only time I have ever given out my SSN online was when filling out college applications… safe sites such as commonapp.org, usc.edu, etc… but as others have said, there are waaay to many identity theft scams out there. I wouldn’t give out my SSN online.
